Omaha Street Soccer is a 501c3 Organization

Who Are We??

⚽ Thank you for your interest in Omaha Street Soccer. I'm Mary, and these girls have been the driving force behind my 15 years of coaching. ❤ 👀 As the 2 oldest entered High School, I became frustrated with the disparity in soccer resources available to our youth, specifically in the North Omaha area. I grew up down the street from Florence Elementary and know that things haven't changed much in years. 🥅 After speaking with several members of the Omaha soccer community, we knew it was time for change. ⚽Omaha Street Soccer is partnering with several organizations to drive the change: *We focus on K-8th grade, preparing athletes to play for their school teams in Middle and High School * Our environment is a positive learning environment for both soccer and personal development for our members * We are partnering with organizations to create soccer fields * We provide soccer for any skill/ability level * We are creating mentoring opportunities for young leaders

Mission

Cultivating an environment of Love, Freedom, and Creativity for our community and future leaders through SOCCER!

Vision

To drive through the streets of Omaha and see our youth of all racial, social, and economic backgrounds enjoying the game of soccer, TOGETHER!

Values

Established in 2021

2020 was a year of change across many aspects of our daily lives. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we work, go to school and it definitely impacted how we play sports.  As our health became the focal point of the year, staying healthy both mentally and physically is a top priority. Yet, the communities in Omaha don’t have access to the same resources. Omaha Street Soccer wants to level the playing field by collaborating with local and regional organizations to make these resources accessible.

Our primary focus for 2024 continues to be improving the soccer resources in North Omaha. Omaha Street Soccer offers a place for kids from K-8th grade to play at all skill levels. We are currently working on field locations, referee opportunities, and coaching support so that any child who wants to play soccer has an opportunity to do so.

We look forward to removing the barriers making it difficult for our youth to enjoy soccer, the #1 sport in the world, played by more than 4 million people around the world.
